It is with great pleasure that I address you, on behalf of the Brazilian Amateur Radio League – LABRE, to invite you to take part in a Special Event. On February 2, 2026, LABRE will celebrate its 92nd anniversary, marked by a long-standing dedication to Brazilian amateur radio, technical development, international integration, and continuous service to society.

To mark this historic date, we will once again promote a special event, open to the participation of amateur radio operators from Brazil and around the world. For 30 days, from February 1 to March 1, 2026, we will be on the air with 28 special call signs representing each Brazilian region, creating a unique opportunity for fellowship, cultural and technical exchange, and friendship—values that have always been at the heart of LABRE.

The activation will include a wide range of operating modes, such as SSB, CW, digital modes and satellite, allowing the participation of the largest possible number of operators. Operations will take place on the 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 meter bands, as well as on LEO satellites in the 2 m and 70 cm bands (144 and 430 MHz) and on the geostationary satellite QO-100, in the 13 cm and 3 cm bands (2.4 and 10 GHz), further expanding the reach and technical challenge of the event.

To make this celebration even more exciting, LABRE is preparing special awards, recognizing both the top activators and the participants with the highest number of contacts made. Le 2 février 2026, LABRE célébrera son 92e anniversaire, marqué par une longue dévotion au radioamateurisme brésilien, au développement technique, à l’intégration internationale et à un service continu envers la société.

Pour marquer cette date historique, nous organiserons à nouveau un événement spécial, ouvert à la participation des radioamateurs du Brésil et du monde entier. Pendant 30 jours, du 1er février au 1er mars 2026, nous serons à l’antenne avec 28 indicatifs spéciaux représentant chaque région brésilienne, créant une occasion unique de camaraderie, d’échange culturel et technique, et d’amitié – des valeurs qui ont toujours été au cœur de LABRE.

L’activation comprendra un large éventail de modes d’exploitation, tels que SSB, CW, modes numériques et satellite, permettant la participation du plus grand nombre possible d’opérateurs. Les opérations auront lieu sur les bandes de 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 et 10 mètres, ainsi que sur les satellites LEO dans les bandes de 2 m et 70 cm (144 et 430 MHz) et sur le satellite géostationnaire QO-100, dans les bandes de 13 cm et 3 cm (2,4 et 10 GHz), élargissant ainsi la portée et le défi technique de l’événement.

Pour rendre cette célébration encore plus excitante, LABRE prépare des récompenses spéciales, reconnaissant à la fois les meilleurs activateurs et les participants ayant réalisé le plus grand nombre de contacts.
